A Florida man has been charged with theft of food from a restaurant after authorities say he stole two dozen packets of instant-read cookies from the store.
Terrance Lee Staley, 24, was arrested on Tuesday after authorities received a tip about the alleged theft.
Staley is charged with two counts of felony theft and one count of tampering with evidence.
Stray dogs and other items stolen from the food court were later found at Staley’s home.
Stacey’s attorney said he has filed a civil lawsuit against the franchise.
